Robin the smart sleeper and fantastic eater

I can't say enough of how fantastic a little girl Robin is (which means look out when she's a teenager?) Robin has been sleeping through the night since about she was about 7 months old, after we decided to do a little nighttime feeding weening.

Tonight, she wasn't feeling so good as she might be catching my cold (even though I've done everything but bleach myself sterile!), but still went to bed fairly well. She wasn't asleep when I left the room; she was just lying on her side and playing with the multiple soothers we leave in there. She didn't even cry. My big girl.

So I decided to come back and take a peek at how she was doing. As she often does, she moved to a different spot in the crib to fall asleep. But then I noticed something amazing. I even went downstairs and asked Jen to make sure she didn't do it for her.

Robin had tucked herself in.

Good gravy kid, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I can't manage to do that myself! See, we have a quilt in the crib with Robin, but she wasn't covered when I left the room. When I came back in the room, she was lying on her stomach and the quilt was tucked just over her shoulders and slightly underneath her. I couldn't have done it better myself. There you go Robin. You are officially smarter than Daddy, and you're not even 13 months old.

On the food side of things, Robin is pretty much done with baby food, and seems to eat most everything. Here's a video of Robin progressing in her eating.
